Usage and Balance

For providers that report account usage, Dline shows a usage chip in the input toolbar. It describes the account behind the Profile that the current mode uses.

ProviderWhat is shownHow it is read
OpenAI Codex (ChatGPT sign-in)Quota windows such as 5 hour and 7 day, plus reset cards when the account has themOnce per Profile, then on demand with Refresh
Claude Code (Claude sign-in)Quota windows such as 5 hour, This week, and per-model weekly limitsOnce per Profile, then on demand with Refresh
DeepSeekRemaining account balanceEvery 60 seconds while the Dline view is visible

Subscription usage endpoints count against the same account that serves your conversations, so Codex and Claude Code are not polled on a timer. Balance polling pauses while the Dline view is hidden and resumes when it becomes visible again.

OpenRouter shows its key balance in the Profile editor, next to the API key field, rather than in the toolbar.

  • For subscriptions, the chip shows the remaining percentage of one window, for example 5h: 72%. The five-hour window is preferred while it is in use; if another window is exhausted, that window is shown instead because it is the one blocking requests.
  • For balance accounts, the chip shows the balance in the provider’s currency.
  • Windows whose data cannot be read are skipped rather than shown as 0%.
  • The chip is hidden when the active Profile reports no usage, and on very narrow panels.

Hover the chip to preview every window with its remaining percentage, progress bar, and reset time. Select it to open Usage, which adds a Refresh button and, for Codex, the list of reset cards.

When an OpenAI Codex account has rate-limit reset cards, the Usage panel lists them with their expiry. Choosing a card asks for confirmation and then resets the eligible windows. The result, for example which windows were reset, appears in the panel.
