Google Gemini is Google’s family of multimodal models. It offers very large context windows and performs well at coding, reasoning, and document analysis.

Get an API key

1. Go to Google AI Studio and sign in with your Google account.

2. Open aistudio.google.com/apikey.

3. Click Create API Key and select or create a Google Cloud project.

4. Copy the key immediately and store it securely.

Configure Dline

See Model configuration for the general flow.

1. Click the Settings button in the Dline panel title bar.

2. Set Provider to Google Gemini.

3. Paste the key into the Gemini API Key field.

4. Select a model under Model.

Requests go to https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com by default. To route them through a gateway, check Use custom base URL and enter the address. Models that support reasoning effort show an extra reasoning-effort option.
